Pakistanis have field day on Twitter as Bollywood goofs up again. When making a film on a sensitive topic, it is always better to exercise due caution especially when it comes to facts. Not doing so will not only land one in trouble, it can also make one butt of all jokes.
Pakistanis have field day on Twitter as Bollywood goofs up again
Something of the sort happened with a latest Bollywood release “Genius”, in which facts were muddled up and it led to relentless trolling from across the border.
In the film starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mithun Chakraborty, a scene showed Arfa Karim Technology Park as the headquarters of Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI).
Quick to ridicule the mistake in basic factchecking was a Pakistani technology geek Umar Saif, who pointed out the blunder in a tweet.
The Indian Express also has a polite reminder for the Bollywood https://t.co/VvlPTwiRoR
